If you're like me, your dog has become a family member. When you
can't be home for them, whether because of work or other obligations, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. That's exactly what I offer at Dogs Life. I have many years of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have owned, walked and trained many times over and always with the greatest of care and attention. I believe in positive reinforcement and always approach every dog with its best interests at heart.
A large part of my life is dedicated to my own dogs and their care and wellbeing, both body and mind. I enjoy all aspects of being a dog owner but I enjoy even more being the pack leader, it makes such a difference to a dog to know he has clear rules and boundaries. Dog psychology plays a large part in how I deal with any dog. Just because the tail is wagging doesn't necessarily mean he is happy, the ears,eyes and body language could be telling you a different story and its being able to see these tiny details that can make a huge difference. Being able to pick up on what the dog is REALLY saying can make or break your relationship with him.
A lot of people rescue their dog from a shelter which in its self is a wonderful thing but a lot of these dogs come with issues already which can manifest into big problems for the new owner, the real rescue happens when the dog is fully rehabilitated and is able to be in a calm relaxed state of mind no matter what the situation.
If you are dealing with problems with your dog day and daily it can get really frustrating and infuriating but there is help available, I am only at the end of a phone if you have a question or need advice!

Insurantz.com and the full policy details can be forwarded to any client using an
e-mailed pdf file.

Below is an idea of what I do:
I usually prefer to only walk one households dog/s at a time and this is to ensure your dog gets my individual attention although if your friend/neighbour also has a dog and you want them to go out together this is fine.
All dogs will be leash walked as I feel this is the safest for the animal because it cuts down the risk of injury or accident although with written permission from the owner the dog can be exercised off leash.
I will only walk your dog in his/her own area as I'm more than happy to walk by friends/relatives/neighbours etc this also saves travelling time being taken off the time your dog is actually walked.
With me an hour really IS an hour.
Any specific requirements will be met regarding the care of your dog.
Any keys for access are kept in a safe inside a locked cupboard. Keys are not addressed. Key system and insurance details advised only to clients.
What I offer is a personalised service for you and your dog, tailored to your own set of circumstances and any owner is more than welcome to drop in on any walk at any time.
Training/Rehabilitation is undertaken only upon full client consultation.

- Feeding
- Walks: 30,60 or 120 minute walks
- Brushing
- Toilet breaks during work times
- Train how to be a calm dog walker using my own methods.
- Photo's of your dogs walk available.
My charges are per hour or half hour
Walking, friend/neighbours dog and block bookings are price on inquiry as I strive to provide the best service in the business for the best value possible.
I have an introductory offer and concession prices in effect.
I accept block bookings for as many or as few hours as you would like and also if you would maybe like your dog walked once a week or once in a while I can also accommodate this.
